Student Grant Opportunity: SCEC 2018 workshop - participation award

Application Deadline for the Participation Award to Attend the Second Workshop on "Software Challenges to Exascale Computing" is September 15, 2018

The second workshop on "Software Challenges to Exascale Computing (SCEC)" will be held from December 13-14, 2018 in Delhi, India. We will be able to fund a limited number of undergraduate and graduate students from the U.S. based universities to participate in the SCEC workshop. This workshop will provide networking and skill development opportunities to the students in addition to providing them a platform to disseminate the information about their High Performance Computing (HPC) research and software. The SCEC workshop will also offer hands-on sessions on the topics related to HPC software development. In addition to this, mentoring activities are also planned for the selected students before and after the workshop. For more information on the SCEC 2018 workshop, please visit the following URL:

The students interested in attending the SCEC 2018 workshop but having limited resources are encouraged to apply for the participation award by submitting the form at the following URL:

The participation award can be requested to cover one or all of the following: air-fare, hotel, workshop registration fees, ground transportation, and per diem. The deadline for submitting the application for the participation award is September 15, 2018.

In order to be eligible for the travel award, a student should be registered as a full-time students at a U.S. University or College. Selected applicants will be notified by October 2, 2018 and should be prepared to complete their travel arrangements by October 15, 2018.
